Bubba-Lu's Java Time is officially open.
We opened on February 3, 2008.

I started making coffee at 5:30 in the morning. (with a lot of help from Bill)
Such a change after these three beautiful years of no alarm clock.
I'm sure my eyes said that I needed a stiff cup of java, so at least I was in the right place.

I was greeted by many regulars.
Ziggy, who likes lots of sugar.
A half french, half decaf, topped with cream and a Raw Sugar goes to Roger.
Mike likes it black.
Larry, up for the flavor of the day, or whatever was just brewed likes to kid.
Charlie goes fishing with his grandson and eats breakfast.
Bud comes in every morning for two eggs, sausage, two potatoes, and toast.
Marland always has great perspective on current events, and isn't afraid to share.
It's like Mayberry, only it's Auberry.

The week went really well.
Mom and Dad were there to help us in this transition.
Very valuable "on the job" training.
We have had a lot of support from our community.
Lots of smiles.

Who could ask for anything more?
